I love you, Becca. ^^ I mean that. I know we don't talk very much, but you mean alot to me. Weird, I know, but that's how I feel. Heh. Hopefully we'll get to chat more in the future.

Note: I'm not interested in using this, just talking about principle

Your whole "you are not allowed to reproduce this" and all that is ridiculously hypocritical. You received this base to trace for free. It's not even yours, you just added the mane, tail, and changed the colors. I'm sorry but honestly you're ridiculously restrict of things that aren't even yours. You take other people's work and claim it. I understand this, I do vector traces. But I know what I'm doing and anything that's not an originally-drawn OC is released on Creative Commons BY-NC, and even if it is an OC, it's still BY-NC-ND. But that's only if someone created it themselves completely unique, this is just traced of some other person who made the base and made to appear like characters you claim, and your whole bit on lack of use is once again hypocritical.

Also, to add to that: Bases or no bases, my finished edit (doll) becomes my property since I'm the one who edited it. I still give credit to the base makers. These dolls, however, are not to be edited/used because they are not bases. Dolls are edited/completed bases that people have designed. Bases are blank and free to use. There's a clear difference.

I understand what you see to be the difference, but to go all crazy on it with multiple things and bold about something that isn't yours is ridiculous. Legally you have very little property you can claim over it, just as I can claim very little property for any vector trace I do of the actual show. Dolls and bases in your pixel format are so ridiculously blurred (the line between them) that any person could convert "base" to "doll" using a single magic wand tool and color fill in GIMP, Paint.Net, or Photoshop. While it's nice to self-disabled downloads for this purpose, to claim stuff like this as so much yours is weak. If could take the entire pose to one of my vector poses, this for example, and give it generic colors as well as maybe change the mane and tail style, and that would be what you call a base, while what you see is what you call a doll. There's little between the two and while it's nice to ask people to not use things, you added less than 50% of anything real to this base to call if yours. That's like how someone can order gloves make in Pakistan, sew a star or two on the top of them, and then legally label and sell them as "Made in USA". Which is exactly what you're doing.

While do you at least credit the person who made the base, to claim so forcefully that these are so much yours is hypocritical. To give a good example about this is I could take (just for example) this pixel picture and render pixel clothes on top of the body sections and then call it all mine. Which would be adding the same amount of information and creativity as you have done to this base.

Note: I don't claim it entirely. Notice I actually credit the base creator. It IS unique because the characters, despite being drawn onto a 'traced base' are STILL 100% my own creation. They are not recolors or spinoffs of other characters from the show or anything like that. They are my characters. Well, this picture only one is mine, but even so. They are original in their own way, regardless of the fact that bases were used. If you don't like it, you don't have to bother complaining about it or even looking at it.
